channeling the spirit of hermione granger.

made it safely back to oklahoma city, finally, though the trip was frightening at times. chicago toll roads are not to be toyed with, or in fact taken at all. yeesh.

since my arrival here i have finished the newest harry potter book. for those who will not or do not read them, fine. for those who do... i am still reeling. i don't remember having such an emotional response to another book, ever. absolutely gripping, from beginning to end.

monday will be a busy day indeed. what with trying to clear up school stuff and getting my licensing for bartending/serving, i don't know when i'll get much of a chance to do much else.

it seems i've been reading with a nearly ravenous fervor lately. i'll certainly need a few bartending gigs soon, unless i plan on holding up a barnes & noble. hope my appetite for studying can keep up.

speaking of which, i finally checked my final grade for chemistry. an a. whoopee. seriously, i'm proud of the work i did, and i want to continue in the same vein here.

time for bed. lots of things to organize manana.

My sister just read the new harry potter book... in a matter of hours. I thought she might eat it afterward. She to, was quite caught up in it. Some day i'll read those books.. maybe i'll let a few more stack up so I can really go wild.

Sounds like anybody going to chicago should stay off the roads and fly.

isn't that the truth. i'll never set four tires back in that place.
